Boiler room operator
The boiler room operator is responsible for the production of steam for the entire paper mill, in terms of both quantity and quality. In the event of an interruption in steam production, the entire plant shuts down. When steam production is associated with an electrical energy production unit, the energy specialist is then responsible for the proper operation of the entire cogeneration system.
" Trained as an electromechanic, I have initial experience in maintenance. As the position of energy engineer requires solid knowledge of electricity and mechanics, I moved towards boiler room management. Today, I have developed new skills in automation, regulation and thermal engineering. I like my job because it is very varied, it allows me to maintain a great deal of autonomy which goes hand in hand with a high level of responsibility. I am passionate and I recommend this job to anyone who is afraid of boredom!"
