Foreman
The foreman supervises a team of drivers, assistant drivers and operators in a manufacturing workshop. He is responsible for distributing work, organizing manufacturing, establishing schedules, supervising production and also controlling the quality of the work carried out, to satisfy the end customer. He ensures compliance with safety and environmental rules. He also manages the production staff.
"I came to this team management responsibility after 21 years of driving different processing equipment. I can say that I know all the machines and processes by heart. I can advise drivers when they are unable to resolve a problem. I followed management training, because it is not easy to interview employees and give them the confidence to develop their skills and progress."
