Industrial maintenance technician
The maintenance technician ensures the repair of equipment using welding processes. He/she thus reloads mechanical parts in order to restore them to their initial shapes and dimensions and assists mechanics in their daily tasks. He/she is responsible for diagnosing equipment malfunctions and preparing and carrying out maintenance interventions. He/she creates pipes and ensures their maintenance, lubricates mechanical parts, or carries out machining of mechanical parts.
"I have a job that involves preparing maintenance interventions. I am often with my maintenance manager or the maintenance technician to help with machine checks and performing a simple diagnostic on the equipment. When a problem is identified, I am there to replace the parts that are not working properly and ensure that the problem has been resolved. I have several machines to manage, which makes my job stimulating. There is always something to do, to repair."
