Planning Manager
The planning manager organizes the factory's production and coordinates operations based on the orders placed by the sales department. To do this, he must optimize the resources to be implemented, the organization of working time and the times required for manufacturing. He is in contact with the various stakeholders of the company in order to meet the company's production objectives.
"It's an interesting job because it's at the heart of the company's reality. I'm the link between the sales department and the production department, so I have to know these different functions very well. I like being at the interface of these two worlds, and telling myself that if the work is done on time, it's partly thanks to my planning! Trend in the evolution of the job: Customers are increasingly demanding in terms of deadlines and quality. The job of planning manager therefore requires more and more flexibility and speed in establishing the production schedule. Mastery of software dedicated to planning or production management has become imperative."
