Purchases
The purchasing technician is responsible for preparing and administering calls for tender for the range of papers and services required by the company. He analyses and processes purchasing requests and must be able to assess the relevance of the technical and economic solutions proposed by suppliers. In charge of negotiation, he is responsible for monitoring the supplier market and concluding contracts under the most advantageous conditions for the company. He thus obtains the best prices while ensuring deadlines, quality and quantity requirements. Responsible for monitoring supplier quality, he actively contributes to continuous improvement initiatives.
"I look for products to create catalogues, mainly through monitoring and benchmarking on the Internet. In this way, I identify suppliers with whom we can work. As a purchasing technician, I can give my opinion on a supplier proposal, but only the buyer is the decision-maker."
