Winder
The winder operator makes the reels according to the requested formats. The winder therefore plays a key role in the control and quality of the product.
"After a vocational baccalaureate in the pulp, paper and cardboard industries as an apprentice, I was immediately hired as a replacement, then I learned the trade of winder. A few years later, I wanted to work on the paper machine and I was offered the position of assistant dryer. Today, I am training to be a dryer. I have theoretical training in the classroom and on a simulator, and practical training on the job with my tutor It's a job where you learn every day: it's moving!
The profession follows technological progress: remote control, increasingly complex steam circuits, more and more numerous controls and sensors. The control room becomes a real pilot room via its control screens."
